Esports Media was founded in 1997 by dedicated gaming enthusiasts from Oslo. The organization developed and theorized behind the eSports (competitive gaming) community’s need for a complete media presence: a centralized hub for easily accessible information on current league events, game news, event information and community ramblings. Never before has there been an attempt to encompass the entire eSports scene into one cohesive community.

Competitive gaming is an expanding industry that has been hampered by its inability to present itself in a professional form. A proper media outlet that is easily used by current and future eSports organizations allows the entire presentation of the industry to reach its users with complete feel. During its stages of growth it is vital for the industry to be seen by the rest of the world in a manner that is going to leave them astonished with how quickly this once underground hobby is now well on its way to becoming a recognized sport.
